Frequently Asked Questions
How many photos can I use in one collage?
Between 2 and 6. Upload the photos you want, and the layout buttons that need more photos than you've uploaded stay disabled until you add enough - for example, the 6-photo grid only becomes available once you've uploaded at least 6 images.
Will my photos look stretched or distorted in the collage?
No. Each photo is center-cropped to match its grid cell's proportions before being drawn, the same way CSS object-fit: cover works, so photos fill their cell completely without being squashed or stretched out of shape.
Can I control the spacing and border color between photos?
Yes - use the gap slider to set the spacing in pixels between and around photos, and the color picker to set that gap's color, from white borders to a solid black frame or any color you like.
Can I remove a photo after uploading it?
Yes, click the × button on any thumbnail to remove it before generating your collage.
Can I reorder my photos before generating the collage?
Yes — press and hold any thumbnail and drag it to a new position; the thumbnail order determines which grid cell each photo fills once you generate the collage. Small up and down buttons on each thumbnail offer a non-drag way to reorder too.
What file format is the collage download?
A PNG file, exported directly from the output canvas at the layout's full resolution.
