Frequently Asked Questions
How does the tool decide where to break lines and pages?
It measures the actual rendered width of your text at the chosen font size and wraps each line just before it would overflow the page's margins; when the accumulated lines run past the bottom margin, it automatically starts a new page — so you don't need to add manual line or page breaks.
What happens to a single word that's too long to fit on one line?
It gets force-split mid-word using a binary search that finds the longest chunk of the word that still fits within the page width, so an extremely long unbroken string (like a URL) won't overflow the page — it'll just wrap awkwardly across lines.
Does it preserve blank lines and paragraph spacing from my original text?
Yes — line breaks in your pasted or uploaded text are respected, including blank lines, since the text is split on newlines before wrapping, so paragraph spacing in your source text carries through to the PDF.
Can I use a custom font or change text color?
You can choose between Helvetica, Times New Roman, and Courier, plus adjust font size, margins, and text alignment; text color is fixed to plain black and there's no bold/italic formatting in the current version.
How does the Justify text alignment work?
Justify stretches the spacing between words so each wrapped line — except the last line of a paragraph and lines with only one word — reaches the full width of the page margins, the same way word processors justify text; Left and Center alignment don't add extra spacing.
What page sizes and margins can I choose?
You can pick Letter, A4, or Legal for page size, and Narrow (0.5 in), Normal (0.78 in), or Wide (1 in) margins; the tool recalculates line wrapping for whichever combination you choose so text never overflows the page width.
What file types can I upload with "Upload .txt File"?
Plain .txt files — the button reads the file as raw text and drops its contents straight into the text box, where you can edit it further before converting.
