How to Rotate PDF Pages

  1. Upload your PDF — every page renders as a thumbnail with its own ↺ / ↻ rotate buttons.
  2. Click a thumbnail's own rotate button to fix a single page, or click one or more thumbnails to select them (click again to deselect, or use "Select All"/"Select None") and rotate the whole selection with "Rotate Selected Left/Right 90°".
  3. Need to fix the whole document? "Rotate All Left 90°" / "Rotate All Right 90°" rotates every page at once — you can still override individual pages afterward. "Reset All Rotations" clears every change back to 0°.
  4. Click "Generate Rotated PDF" and download the result.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I rotate a single page without changing the others?

Yes — every thumbnail has its own ↺ and ↻ buttons. Click either one to rotate just that page by 90°; every other page's rotation stays exactly as it was.

Is there a quick way to rotate every page at once?

Yes — the "Rotate All Left 90°" and "Rotate All Right 90°" buttons rotate every page in the document with one click. You can still override individual pages afterward using each thumbnail's own rotate buttons, or by selecting a subset of pages and using "Rotate Selected Left/Right 90°".

What if I rotate a page 90° left and then 90° right?

The rotations cancel out. Rotation is tracked cumulatively per page (e.g. left then right returns it to 0°), and the small degree label under each thumbnail always shows the page's current net rotation.

Does rotating change the page's stored content, or just how it displays?

It sets the PDF page's rotation flag (the same mechanism PDF viewers use to display pages sideways), rather than re-rendering the content itself, so quality and selectable text are fully preserved.

Can I rotate by an angle other than 90°?

No — each click, whether on a single page's own buttons, a selection, or Rotate All, turns the page(s) by exactly 90°, so you can only land on 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°. For fine-grained tilt correction, this tool isn't the right fit.

Can I undo all my rotations at once?

Yes — click "Reset All Rotations" to instantly set every page back to 0°, discarding every rotation you've applied across the whole document in one click.

Why is the "Generate Rotated PDF" button disabled at first?

It stays disabled until at least one page has a non-zero rotation applied, since generating a PDF with no rotations would just recreate the original file.
