Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use an image or logo as the watermark instead of text?

Yes — switch to "Image Watermark" and upload a PNG or JPG. PNG is recommended if your logo has transparent areas, since JPG images are always fully opaque rectangles. The image is scaled to a percentage of the page width you choose, and the same Position, Opacity, and Angle controls apply to it as they do to text.

Can I put the watermark in a corner instead of the center?

Yes — use the Position dropdown to choose Center or one of four corners (Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right). Corner placements are inset from the page edges so they stay fully on the page even when the Angle slider tilts them.

Where exactly does the watermark land on the page?

Wherever the Position dropdown says, rotated to the angle you chose. The tool calculates the watermark's true visual bounding box (not just its anchor point) so it lands in the right spot even when tilted at an angle like the default 45°.

Will the watermark cover up my document's content?

It can, depending on your opacity setting — the default is a light 30% opacity so content underneath stays visible, but you can push it up to 100% for a bold, fully opaque stamp if that's what you want.

Is the watermark applied to every page, including a title page?

Yes, every single page in the document gets the same watermark (text or image), position, size, opacity, and angle — there's no way to skip specific pages in this tool.

Can someone remove the watermark from the PDF I create?

The watermark is drawn as real text or a real embedded image directly onto each page's content, similar to what most watermarking tools do, so it isn't cryptographically locked — a determined person with PDF editing software could still remove it. Treat it as a visible deterrent rather than a security measure.
