Where are my notes actually stored?
Your notes are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device, not on a server or account. They'll still be there next time you visit in the same browser, but won't sync to another device or browser.
Do notes save automatically as I type?
Yes — every keystroke is saved to local storage immediately, so there's no separate save button and no risk of losing what you just typed if you navigate away.
Will my notes disappear if I clear my browser data?
Yes — since notes live in your browser's local storage, clearing your browsing data, using a private/incognito window, or switching browsers or devices will not carry your saved notes with it.
Are my notes ever sent to a server?
No — everything is stored and managed entirely in your browser using JavaScript and local storage. Nothing you type is ever transmitted anywhere.
